In 2022, Danone published its Renewed Forest Policy which was updated in december 2025 (Forest Policy 2025), committing to addresses all forms of deforestation and land conversion within our key supply chains and building a forest positive future. This ambition is fully linked to Danone’s submission to 1.5C SBTi FLAG target, also set up in 2022.

As our new Forest & Sustainable Sourcing Specialist, you will join the Global Sustainable Sourcing team under the Procurement Organization (called Cycles & Procurement) and support different teams (including buyers) to reach our targets on sustainable sourcing especially on forests. You will actively participate in the execution and monitoring of the Danone Renewed Forest Policy by:

• Collaborating with purchasing categories (global and local) to follow and achieve our targets, including follow up on traceability results, gaps and actions to take.
• Consolidating the progress on forest targets, analyzing the data and supporting external reporting such as CDP Forests and palm reporting (RSPO, WWF scorecard…). This also includes the update of Danone Annual Forest report.
• Proposing, leading, and implementing improvements in existing traceability process and forest KPI monitoring.
• Supporting the implementation of the EUDR.
• Engaging and developing strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders including forests coalitions.
• Supporting the implementation of human rights and environmental due diligence for forest commodity sourcing.

About you

Desired profile:

• Degree from University or College in Engineering, Sustainability, Science, Agronomy.
• First professional experience in Sustainability. Experience in an International business is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated passion and curiosity about sustainability, with an ability to manage projects autonomously while working in teams in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and not afraid to take action on your own initiatives; you bring forward new ideas. You are willing and able to tackle autonomous tasks as well as be a valuable member of the team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Skilled in presentations and MS Office, with the ability to analyse and generate insights from sustainability data.

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a Business France device allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

• You must be aged 18 to 28.
• You must have completed national service obligation.
• You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area.
