Our Business Unit Middle East Africa is responsible for sales and marketing of our brands in that region. We believe that strong local partnerships are key to building long-term sustainable brands. Achieving this is a joint effort of our sales and marketing colleagues operating worldwide.

To further strengthen our MEA (Middle East & Africa) sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager. As Sales Manager, you are responsible for generating sales through developing and maintaining strong relationships with our local partners. Our MEA sales team has built a firm foundation of distribution partners and a strong position for our brands (Smalt, 8.6, Hollandia) in the market. Business development, brand management, investments and data analytics are important aspects of this role. Within your region, you act as an entrepreneur to build business and brands in a sustainable way.

What are you going to do?

  • Lead sales for several countries in Western Africa.
  • Strengthen local partnerships, build our brands and identify new business opportunities and routes to market.
  • Together with our Marketeers and strategic partners, deploy value management and brand marketing programs.
  • Coach partners and develop, negotiate and align plans for the respective countries with current and future partners.

This is you

  • You have a commercial Bachelor or, ideally, a Master degree, combined with 5–7 years of experience in an international sales role.
  • You bring proven commercial experience within the FMCG market; experience in the region is highly valued.
  • You are a proven relationship builder with a track record in value growth through brands.
  • You are fluent in French and English. An additional African language or Arabic is a plus.
  • You are flexible in where you work and willing to travel within the region.
