What you will be doing

You will work closely with partners and senior colleagues specializing in mobility and transportation. You will work on projects with significant impact on society, the environment, and the economy. You will also have considerable autonomy in your responsibilities and become an integral part of Roland Berger's expanding practice.

By working closely with senior leadership at leading companies in the mobility industry, you will play a direct role in shaping the direction of these organizations and have an impact on the future of mobility.

Roland Berger has a strong focus on mobility in the Netherlands, with projects often taking place at the intersection of energy, automotive and investor support, encompassing perspectives such as e-mobility, aerospace, shipping, logistics, and telematics. These projects address themes like digital transformation, decarbonization, and innovation, with a focus on operational improvement, innovative management, market analyses and sector development.

As a Senior Consultant / Project Manager at Roland Berger you will:

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects, typically leading three to five consultants.
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects, such as in-depth studies on current topics, that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.
• Take an active role in business development efforts.

Our requirements

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between four and seven years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector. Having prior involvement in mobility is a requirement.
• You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
• You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision.
• You are open-minded.
• You have experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
• You are familiar with or experienced in financial modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
• You have good oral, written and presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language.
