Project Manager

Roland Berger Amsterdam is seeking a Project Manager to join its young, dynamic and fast-growing office in the Netherlands. What you will be doing

At Roland Berger, you will be responsible for analyzing business challenges, developing data-driven recommendations, and guiding clients in implementing strategies to drive growth, improve performance, and achieve long-term objectives. You will work for national and international clients from a variety of industries and often report to senior management.

As a Project Manager at Roland Berger you will:

• Manage complex projects and be ultimately responsible for large projects, typically staffed with more than three consultants.
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects, such as in-depth studies on current topics, that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.

Our requirements

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have more than 5 years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector.
• Prior involvement in retail, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), agribusiness, energy, utilities, circularity, life sciences, healthcare, chemicals, industrial products and services, technology, media and telecom (TMT), mobility, automotive, investor support or financial services is highly advantageous.
• You have leadership potential and extensive experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
• You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
• You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision.
• You are open-minded.
• You are familiar with or experienced in (financial) modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
• You have good oral, written and presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language.
