Junior Data & Analytics Consultant

Job description

As a BI & Analytics Consultant at Quatronic, you are responsible for providing insight into data from customer applications. You retrieve this data and visualize it in dashboards or reports. To do this, you first identify the customer needs for these reports and dashboards. Then you extract the necessary data from the source systems and place it in a central storage. You prepare the data for use and design and build a visualization that fits the customer's needs. You build technical solutions, set up integrations between systems and model and transform data.

You usually work with a team of internal colleagues for one or two projects at the same time. In this role you have a lot of contact with the customer. You will discuss their wishes, the project progress and planning and hold midterm evaluations. From Monday till Thursday, all Quatronic consultants work for the client they are currently doing the project for. On Fridays, everyone works at and for Quatronic. You could be busy with personal development, knowledge sharing, developing new propositions for customers, organizing events or carrying out any recruitment tasks.

In this position, you will be part of the BI & Analytics team. In addition to the BI & Analytics Consultant, this team consists of a Business Technology Consultant and one of Quatronic's Partners.

What is required

• Completed master's degree in business and/or technology
• Analytical and problem solving
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages

Practical example

A new, extended functionality went live, but it appears to be working less than expected. What do you do?

The client wants this to be improved quickly, so you will immediately get to work together with your team. You find out the reason that the functionality does not work as well as expected. It appears that the specifications were not clear enough and that this has not been extensively tested. Together with the client, you discuss how this situation could be prevented next time. You also constructively remind the client of his responsibility to test properly. For the specific problem, you propose one or more solutions and reassure the client.
