Design the tools that help organisers grow successful events and shape how millions of fans discover, buy, and experience live events worldwide.

Job description

TicketSwap is on a journey to become the world’s favourite marketplace for safely buying and selling tickets. With over 19 million fans across 42 countries, we connect fans to the events they love and help organisers build lasting success.

Design plays a key role in that mission. Every interaction - from discovering an event to completing a purchase - should feel simple, transparent, and trustworthy.

That’s why we’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Product team. You’ll work on meaningful challenges that affect millions of fans worldwide, collaborating closely with engineers and product managers to shape experiences from idea to launch.

Are you ready to help design the future of how fans experience live events? Keep reading. 👇

What You’ll Do

As a Product Designer at TicketSwap, you’ll be part of a cross-functional product team together with a product manager, engineers, UX writer and researcher. You’ll take ownership of design challenges within your product domain (Organiser Success) and help shape solutions that are both intuitive for fans and scalable for our platform.

Your work will directly influence how millions of people discover events, buy tickets, and safely sell the ones they can’t use.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end design process for product initiatives, from discovery and ideation to delivery and iteration.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX writers, UX Researcher, Engineers and Data to translate user needs and product goals into thoughtful design solutions.
  • Design intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces for both web and native app experiences.
  • Prototype and validate ideas quickly to explore solutions and gather feedback early.
  • Conduct and participate in user research and usability testing to understand fan behaviour and validate design decisions.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
  • Use data, insights, and experimentation to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Present and communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders across the company.
  • Collaborate with other designers to share feedback, refine ideas, and raise the bar for design quality.
  • Participate in Discovery Days, Design Circle time and other team initiatives where we explore new ideas and improve how we work.

About You

You’re a thoughtful and curious designer who enjoys solving real product challenges. You combine strong visual and interaction design skills with a deep understanding of user needs. You care about building products that people genuinely enjoy using and you know that great design comes from collaboration, iteration, and learning.

We think you’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 3-6+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within a tech company, scale-up, or marketplace environment.
  • Have strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences across web and native apps.
  • Are highly comfortable with Figma for interface design, prototyping, and design system work.
  • Have experience or are very curious about working with AI in your design flow and processes.
  • Are proactive in bringing improvements in both the experience and UI language for the product.
  • Understand how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Have experience working on B2B and complex products.
  • Enjoy working in cross-functional teams with engineers and product managers.
  • Are comfortable presenting your ideas and explaining the reasoning behind your design decisions.
  • Have experience using research, data, and testing to inform design improvements.
  • Care about details while still keeping the bigger product vision in mind.
  • Are curious, proactive, and eager to keep improving your craft.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English.

A portfolio showcasing your design process and product thinking is required.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • You’ll design products that help organisers grow successful events and connect with millions of fans around the world.
  • You’ll join a collaborative product culture where designers, engineers, writers, researchers and product managers work closely together.
  • You’ll have ownership and freedom to shape solutions, explore ideas, and improve how organisers work with TicketSwap.
  • You’ll work with a team that cares deeply about creating great tools and helping organisers build lasting success.

Practical Details

  • Contract: Full-time, 1-year contract with the intention to extend.
  • You must be based in the Netherlands, have an EU passport, or hold a valid visa to work there.
  • Unfortunately, relocation support is not available for this role.
