As of June 2026, this internship offers the opportunity to work on data science and analytics in healthcare consultancy services.

You will support us to organize our data from different internal and external sources. Together with our senior consultants, you will build scenarios to address the most urgent needs of our customers. You will analyze current models and tools and update them accordingly.

Your role:

• Creation of a data hub of currently available information
• Analysis of internal Philips data
• Open-source information gathering and analysis to strengthen and update the baseline
• Build capacity calculation models to automate processes
• Build models to link outcomes of capacity requirements into space and technology requirements

You're the right fit if:

• You are studying towards a University Master in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have experience analyzing large sets of data in healthcare, finance, insurance, or another highly regulated industry.
• You have experience with data mining methods, statistical analysis, and data visualization methods utilizing tools such as JMP, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
• You have experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access, SQL Workbench, or similar.
• You have experience with tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Excel, or similar.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For office-based teams, this means working in person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

We offer you:

• Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and whether you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
• Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate near our office, Philips offers a monthly allowance of €300 net if the location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, and €255 net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, you must provide a rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance must be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time one way.
• Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card, up to €192 net as a monthly allowance.
• Paid holidays per internship term.
• The opportunity to buy Philips products at the Philips shop.
