Join Adyen’s Professional Services team in Amsterdam as a Project Operations Manager specializing in Financial Products. In this role, you will focus on the delivery and execution of complex global Issuing and financial product projects for clients. You will advise on product offerings, manage expectations around availability and dependencies, and bring a long-term vision and strategy to project implementation.

As an expert driving complex technical and operational roll-outs, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create a seamless service deployment experience for clients going live on the platform. Using your systems integration experience and strong project management skills, you will handle a varied, hands-on role spanning strategic project direction through to verifying correct configurations.

What you'll do

  • Manage the project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring that clients are fully prepared to roll out Adyen’s solution.
  • Manage 5–10 projects at any given time, with project durations ranging from 6 months to 2 years.
  • Work closely with clients’ project and technical teams, as well as third parties such as technical integration partners, to ensure a smooth rollout.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication of progress to all parties.
  • Provide guidance on Adyen’s Issuing products and advise on the solution that best fits clients’ business needs.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives to help the business scale.
  • Deliver client feedback to internal teams to identify challenges and improve products and services.
  • Ensure successful project handovers once rollout has been completed by setting up scalable business-as-usual and support processes.

Who you are

  • Proven track record of 5+ years delivering complex projects within the Financial Products sector and Card Issuing ecosystem; experience in fintechs or (neo-)banking is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead and manage detailed, time-sensitive initiatives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable thriving in ambiguity and leading projects where the path is not yet paved, turning the unknown into a scalable, structured reality.
  • Client-facing experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead conversations and influence business decisions.
  • Able to interface and cooperate seamlessly with a global team, adapting to international time constraints where appropriate. Experience abroad and/or in multicultural teams is a plus.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. French and Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Willing to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally, where required.

This role is based out of Adyen’s Amsterdam office. Adyen is an office-first company and values in-person collaboration; remote-only roles are not offered.
