Hello Straw is one of the key players in sustainable paper packaging. From straws to cutlery, cups, and packaging, our core mission is to enable a clean, eco-friendly switch from single-use plastics to paper. Working with the company is an exciting opportunity to thrive in an international and fast-paced environment, learn the ins and outs of international trade, and make the planet greener.

As a Sales and Account Executive, you will join a dynamic and cross-functional team. The company is looking for someone who is eager to learn, collaborative, and has an international mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Handle RFPs and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms for the company.
  • Prepare and manage company presentations and customer meetings independently.
  • Attend and represent Hello Straw at trade shows.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set sales targets and KPIs and track progress.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in packaging, drinks & food, horeca, or retail industries; alternatively, experience in sports and football-related fields is also welcome.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or other languages is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic supply chain and sales processes.
  • Passionate about sales and sustainable products, goal-oriented, proactive, independent, and hands-on.
  • Minimum education: HBO (Higher Professional Education).
