As a Sales Support Manager you play a vital role in the overall health and advancement of the region’s objectives. You ensure there is sufficient coverage for your region to fully support the sales team on daily requests and activities, by being part of the working team and by managing team calendars during critical times of the year, such as summer, bank holidays, and public holidays.

This position reports to the Sales Support Europe leader and is suited to someone motivated by both independent and collaborative analytical problem solving, demonstrating individual resourcefulness and a drive to get things done with a collaborative, “make it happen” approach.

Things you enjoy:

  • Working closely with people in cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between stakeholders
  • Thinking about the bigger picture of how the commercial ecosystem can function more efficiently and effectively
  • Creating process guides for all major job functions shared across the Sales Support teams
  • Challenging the status quo and identifying process inefficiencies, reducing them, building scalable processes, and supporting the implementation of new systems and tools
  • Facilitating the implementation of improvements using change management principles
  • Providing cross-training across teams so they can perform all job functions, align on a common approach, reduce specialization, and build generalist abilities on the team

Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting the achievement of the region’s objectives
  • Participating in projects to implement improvement initiatives, identify project opportunities, and generate ideas and solutions
  • Partnering with the commercial ecosystem on sales proposals while balancing the needs of the customer and the business
  • Communicating with related areas to coordinate your work
  • Leading the work activities of others, coordinating daily activities, and providing training, coaching, and guidance
  • Supporting initiatives to maintain the highest degree of commercial data integrity
  • Ensuring the sales team adheres to pricing policies, submits paperwork correctly, and follows the correct audit guidelines

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Experience managing a team in a supervisor or manager role
  • The ability to navigate multiple teams, bridge cultural differences, and partner with different personalities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical skill set, with a high level of experience in Excel, SalesForce.com, and other systems
  • Process improvement skills and the ability to advocate change
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to communicate and work with a range of different stakeholders across the organization
  • Fluent Business English; other languages, preferably French, are advantageous
  • Presentation skills, including the ability to present and explain business requirements to all audiences
  • Influencing skills to gain commitment and support for decisions and to motivate the organization to support business changes
