At Robeco, the HR department focuses on accelerating the company’s strategy through future-ready talent, inclusive leadership, and a high-performance culture. The HR department is led by the CHRO, who is a member of the Robeco Executive Committee, and consists of four teams:

  • HR Business Partners
  • Reward
  • HR Service & Delivery
  • Leadership, Talent & Learning (LTL)

The LTL team consists of a Talent & Development Manager and a Learning & Development Manager. You will report to the Head of LTL.

Position & Requirements

As a Learning & Development Manager at Robeco, you will play a key role in shaping the organization’s future by strategically aligning learning and development solutions with business goals to create impact. This multifaceted position requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills to accelerate the development of employees and leaders, ensuring that Robeco remains at the forefront of the financial industry. You will work closely with the HR organization, management teams, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Design, implement, and manage the overall L&D portfolio to enable business results and strategy execution.
  • Design, implement, and manage organization-wide L&D, talent development, and/or leadership development solutions based on analysis to drive up- and reskilling.
  • Continuously improve learning and development effectiveness and learner experience based on impact measurement and translation of external trends into solutions fitting the Robeco context.
  • Manage leadership development, talent development, learning and development, or other HR-related projects such as strategic workforce planning and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout Robeco.
  • Ensure clear governance of L&D processes, roles, and responsibilities, including budget management and reporting.
  • Manage technology platforms such as Learning Management Systems to deliver L&D solutions.
  • Manage relationships with internal HR and business stakeholders and external partners to deliver impactful L&D solutions.

Who you are:

  • Approximately 10–15 years of relevant work experience in designing and implementing learning and development solutions, or related HR topics, preferably within the financial industry and/or consultancy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Program and project management skills, with the ability to drive results while also working at a tactical and operational level when needed.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to be a role model for personal development.
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective L&D solutions.
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Change, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
