Supply Planning Manager

At Perfetti Van Melle, the Supply Planning Manager leads the category Supply Planning process and is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain of that category. This role ensures the balance of demand and supply by optimizing service, inventory, and supply chain costs, connecting local S&OP and production planning with regional and global S&OP for the relevant category, and coordinating with Scheduling and MRP teams in producing countries. The role also ensures execution of the MPS at production plants and serves as the main contact for factories and co-manufacturers on supply planning activities.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Supply Planning Manager is the lead for the category Supply Planning process and is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end supply chain of that category, ensuring the balance of demand and supply while connecting local S&OP / production planning with regional and global S&OP and maintaining alignment with Scheduling & MRP teams in producing countries.

What you will do

• Lead the regional supply planning activities (DRP/Deploy, MPS, RCCP) for the specific category, including stock level setting and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain in the mid and long term.
• Create and execute the DRP and deployment plan following business rules and S&OP decisions for prioritization, such as temporary product allocation and time-phased safety stocks.
• Manage SLA agreements and distribution planning parameters with local OCs, both factory and commercial.
• Review and understand top net demand deviations and contact OCs for supply priority decisions.
• Collaborate with other supply planners, including co-pack supply planners, to share priorities, understand feedback from plants, and assess possible scenarios.
• Assess end-to-end allocation and mid- and long-term prioritization based on margins, financial impact, customer segmentation, and penalties.
• Act as expert and key user of the O9 supply planning tool for the related category.
• Follow up on inventory planning and deployment planning metrics and reporting.

Our Perfect Candidate

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field.
• 7/8 years of experience in Supply Planning and Demand Requirements Planning in the FMCG industry.
• Experience with planning tools.
• Knowledge of O9.
• Experience with SAP4HANA and Power BI.
• ERP/Planning Tool implementation experience is considered a plus.
• Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English.
