As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to bring our outlets to life every single day. From the restaurant and bar to room service and events, you’ll be hands-on in the operation. The ideal candidate will assist in managing staff, ensuring quality service, leading the team on the floor, setting the tone for service, and ensuring our guests feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.

This role is ideal for an experienced F&B professional who enjoys responsibility, thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. Experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar lead role is highly preferred, as this position requires strong operational insight and confident people management.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

  • Supporting daily operations across all F&B outlets, including opening and closing procedures
  • Leading service preparation and ensuring smooth, well-organized shifts
  • Control inventory, minimize wastage, and support cost-efficiency
  • Create staff schedules balancing labor costs with service needs
  • Handle last-minute staffing challenges and maintain shift coverage
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Develop, implement, and update SOPs to improve operational flow
  • Monitor consistency in food, beverage, and service quality across shifts
  • Lead onboarding and training programs for new staff
  • Engage with guests, resolve complaints, and enhance satisfaction

Qualifications for the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

  • Degree in Hospitality or related field (preferred)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in F&B management, ideally in a hotel setting
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to manage time, scheduling, and operational priorities
  • Experience creating and enforcing SOPs and service standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in POS systems, F&B software, and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
