Business Systems Specialist

As a member of the global Infor CoE team (Center of Excellence), you will support and drive best-practice usage of the ERP and ERP-related solutions across our Civil and Defense Business Lines. While the initial focus is within the Netherlands, the role also includes support and engagement across global sites.

We are in the process of transforming the Baan ERP software into the latest version of Infor LN across our GKN Fokker business, and this is an exciting time to join the team as we strive for standardized ways of working across our Aerospace and Defense business.

Job Summary

Working as a member of the global Infor CoE team (Center of Excellence), you will support and drive best-practice usage of the ERP and ERP-related solutions across our Civil and Defense Business Lines. While the initial focus is within the Netherlands, the role also includes support and engagement across global sites.

What you will do

• Support ERP LN implementation
• Work with functional owners and key users in the business
• Test and verify system functionality within new and existing systems and solutions
• Work alongside other global IT functions, including IT operations, security, project management, and IT business partners
• Ensure the business is aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practices
• Patch and update systems
• Control and support the change request process
• Provide business support, including incident management, training, and discussions
• Support and supervise projects, including work with external parties
• Keep up to date with professional knowledge
• Optimize business processes with the latest technology

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in IT, data, or business analysis
• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Infor LN knowledge is nice to have
• Good communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in business language and turn business objectives into actionable technical plans
• Proactive, collaborative mindset
