As a Supply Chain Rookie

You will be part of the Customer Compliance & Sustainability Team within Supply Chain. Your mission is to support the team in driving clarity, transparency, and process excellence across Quality Cases and EOL (end of life stock) operations. You will help build standardized, automated, and insight-driven processes that enhance end-to-end quality handling and shorten resolution times. Through developing automated insights and reporting, you will support forecasting needs and enhance overall end-to-end operational visibility.

Your Impact

  • Bring clarity to end of life (EOL) inventory, aligning stakeholders on required material movements and timelines to ensure smooth execution and minimize excess stock.
  • Create transparency on volumes, costs, and material flows, enabling more accurate Cost of Goods calculations and supporting informed long-term business and capacity planning.
  • Establish standardized quality process flows by working on existing Quality Inbox cases as a reference model to improve consistency, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration in quality handling.
  • Develop cost versus chargeback reporting, providing visibility into the financial impacts of quality issues.
  • Implement automated monthly quality reporting covering key metrics such as resolution timing, root causes, costs, and chargebacks to enhance operational visibility and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled in a Dutch university and studying Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Engineering, Business Process Management, Quality Management, or similar.
  • Strong willingness to independently learn and deepen expertise in Smartsheet, applying new functionalities to support reporting, workflow management, and automation.
  • Understanding of process flows and ability to document and standardize workflows.
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, formulas) and familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/FMS preferred) and reporting tools such as Tableau is a plus.
  • Self-motivation and initiative, with willingness to take ownership of tasks, learn independently, and proactively improve processes.
  • Analytical thinking, with the ability to structure problems, identify root causes, and draw insights from data.
