About this Position

What you’ll do

  • Drive sales development and growth with the assigned customer portfolio and newly developed leads, including new projects and development programs where needed.
  • Execute local sales plans for assigned accounts in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing customers and acquire new ones.
  • Manage new leads and lead qualification within the assigned customer scope.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
  • Work closely with colleagues and other Henkel departments to provide the best customer experience.
  • Execute pricing actions.
  • Execute the customer roadmap and manage and close respective CRM tool (ACE) growth opportunities.
  • Deliver KP OSG and PC % in the territory and at defined accounts.
  • Perform regular checks of supplier portals, including supplier news, quality and audit issues, and production data updates of major accounts.
  • Manage special requests, including order release, credit limit, debit, credit, and return goods.
  • Support transactional processes to ensure compliance with corporate standards, such as price and contract management in SAP.
  • Cover the territory: BENELUX, France, Spain, Portugal.

What makes you a good fit

  • Education in engineering or material science is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, ideally with a technical background.
  • English and Dutch are mandatory; French is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Availability to travel within the assigned territory for 40% of the time.
  • A team player who takes initiative and proposes new ideas.
  • An enthusiastic, passionate, and assertive person.
  • Preferably based in the Netherlands or Belgium.
