Senior C++ Software Engineer

As part of our growing business, we are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing projects in Apeldoorn.

The position

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance C++ applications, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Translate complex technical specifications into robust, high-quality code and software architectures.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues, implementing innovative and effective solutions.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated tests, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth within the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align technical solutions with business goals.

Your Profile

• This role requires Dutch security clearance due to work in the defence sector. Please note that only candidates who meet government eligibility requirements for this screening can be considered.
• Extensive experience in C++ development
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to tackle challenging technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive, collaborative mindset committed to continuous learning and innovation.
• Completed HBO or WO education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
