Description of assignment

During this internship, you will support the Tax & Compliance team with daily financial and regulatory activities within an international environment. Your tasks include assisting with balance reviews, tax filings such as VAT and corporate income tax, audits, and reporting to authorities. You will gain hands-on experience with financial systems and develop both your technical and professional skills in the field of tax and compliance.

Department description

The FSSC Tax & Compliance EMEA team is based in Veghel, the headquarters of Vanderlande. The team consists of approximately 17 professionals and is responsible for delivering high-quality and reliable tax and compliance services across the EMEA region. We work closely with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with local and international regulations.

Tasks/responsibilities

As a Tax & Compliance Intern, you will become part of a team of experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in an international and dynamic environment. You will actively support the team in daily activities and projects, including:

• Performing balance reviews
• Supporting tax compliance activities, such as VAT and Corporate Income Tax declarations
• Assisting in internal and external audits
• Supporting reporting to local authorities, such as the Bureau of Statistics

In addition, you will become familiar with the tools we work with, including Hubble, JD Edwards, and Vena. Throughout your internship, you will receive guidance and mentoring to help you develop both your technical knowledge and professional skills within the field of Tax & Compliance.

• Mandatory enrolment to a Dutch Education System and resident of The Netherlands
