As a Payroll consultant, you will be a key member of the HR Services & Payroll team, supporting clients in modernising and optimising their payroll processes, both in day-to-day operations and during transition projects. You will contribute to payroll transformation and help organisations set up their payroll systems to be future-proof.

What are you going to do as Payroll consultant?

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues within the HR Services & Payroll team to address payroll issues for a diverse range of clients. You will analyse and manage payroll processes, contribute to payroll transformations, support system conversions and optimise expense claims, allowances and salary payments. You will advise on compliance with local tax legislation, support audit and control processes, and contribute to establishing standards and best practices for payroll both for clients and internally. You will be given considerable freedom to apply your expertise and further develop your skills.

Who are you?

  • You are pragmatic, flexible and customer-focused with a hands-on approach.
  • You have strong communication skills and work well with internal teams and clients.
  • You are results-oriented, analytical and able to translate complex payroll issues into clear, practical solutions.

What are we asking?

  • Payroll experience (Dutch payroll + end-to-end payroll processes)
  • Experience with transition of HR/payroll activities
  • HBO/University level education
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Consultancy skills (excellent communication and presentation)

  • A gross monthly salary of between €4,000 and €6,000 (depending on experience), plus excellent fringe benefits including a consultant bonus scheme, annual profit-sharing, a pension and holiday entitlement;
