As National Road Logistics Manager, you will lead the Road Logistics organization in the Netherlands, ensuring operational excellence, strong commercial development, and full alignment with our strategic ambitions. You will drive the performance of one of our key markets, guide teams across multiple locations, and contribute to a reliable, efficient, and customer centric road transport network in the Netherlands.

How you create impact

• Lead the national Road Logistics organization with full responsibility for strategy, operations, and performance
• Develop and execute the Road Logistics strategy aligned with regional and global priorities
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and operational excellence
• Own national financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and profitability
• Identify and manage operational risks while ensuring compliance with Dutch and EU regulations
• Drive national commercial development by growing existing business and acquiring new customers
• Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Lead, coach, and develop the national Road Logistics team to ensure capability, engagement, and continuous improvement

What we would like you to bring

• 10+ years of experience in road logistics or freight forwarding, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise in road transport operations, regulations, and market dynamics in the Netherlands
• Proven track record in managing national P&L, budgeting, and commercial performance
• Ability to translate strategy into operational plans and measurable targets
• Experience leading and developing diverse teams across multiple locations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, resilient approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in Dutch and English
• Commercial mindset with the entrepreneurial drive to accelerate growth and innovation
