Meltwater is looking for a high-energy, outgoing professional who thrives in client-facing environments and enjoys building strong relationships to join its ambitious team as a Junior Mid-Market Account Manager. In this role, you will take ownership of growing, managing and renewing a portfolio of valued clients. You will work with the Mid-Market portfolio, supporting a diverse and fast-paced customer base.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and actively pursue expansion opportunities within your client portfolio, and grow your client base by initiating upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Manage, renew, and foster long-term growth within your client portfolio.
  • Develop customised account plans and strategies aimed at stimulating account growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to drive ongoing engagement and utilisation of our solutions.
  • Partner with Renewals Representatives to ensure robust account retention and skillfully negotiate pricing agreements.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts, driving both engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer usage to identify growth opportunities and risks, proactively building strategic, client-centric relationships through regular check-ins and engagement.
  • Implement proactive sales processes to effectively counter competitive threats during renewal negotiations.

What You'll Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher is required for this role.
  • Strong interest in building a career in client management and revenue growth.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.
  • The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
