Department Description

Within Atradius ITS, the Channels team is in charge of all applications and programmes specific to the Atradius digital channels. These include customer and partner portals as well as direct B2B solutions and ERP integrations.

The team manages these applications in a BizDevOps manner.

They are in charge of designing, implementing and operating application solutions for demands specified by Product Owners in the central or decentralized business or functional units outside ITS.

Job Description

The squads falling under Digital Channels comprise different roles. Each squad has an IT Asset Owner, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developer and Test Engineers. For one of the squads, we are now looking for a solid QA Automation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• You are the technical person to go to for the technical challenges of test automation frameworks developed based on JavaScript, TypeScript, Playwright.
• Increase the effectiveness of workflows by embedding AI in the test automation and TCs creation process.
• You actively help the team to straighten the Quality mindset and raise the risks, issues and dependencies with the tech lead and your line manager.
• Help perform various kinds of automated testing: infrastructure, Unit, Functional, Integration, load, and stress.
• Assess and accept the delivered software and secure the quality.
• Guard the quality of the software delivered by your squad.
• Have a driving role in increasing the automation of end-2-end chain tests, in a repetitive fashion.
• Take responsibility for the quality of user stories in the backlog by ensuring the DoR and the DoD.
• Make improvements to the automated testing process and implement clear reporting in Elastic or Azure Dashboards.
• Liaising with other teams and areas of expertise (peer QAs, Business Analysts, Product Owners, etc.)

Required Skills

• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong mathematical and statistical skills at least at the bachelor level in a discipline like Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematical Finance, or Econometrics.
• Strong programming skills: minimum of 3 years of experience in hands-on test automation, with at least 2 years' experience of working in an Agile environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, React Testing Library, Vitest, Jest, k6 (for load testing).
• Strong AI knowledge – automated Test Generation: Azure OpenAI models to analyse manual test cases, user stories, or application code and automatically generate Playwright, pure TypeScipt, or specific framework automation scripts.
• Design Rest API tests using Postman or similar
• At least 3 years of QA experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing using AzureDevOps or similar.
• Understand the test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with Git.

Bonus Skills

• Proven track of experience with containers and Elastic
• You are familiar with Load and Stress testing strategies, and you have proven experience of JMeter, K6 or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data validation
