About Demcon

At Demcon Unmanned Systems (DUS), we develop and manufacture advanced, electric and hybrid-powered unmanned autonomous vessels (USVs) for inspection, monitoring, and maintenance applications ranging from shallow inland waters to complex offshore environments. Our USVs are modular and custom-designed, based on our own technological innovations in autonomous navigation, the USV control system, remote operating centers, and system integration.

What are you going to do?

Due to a growing number of challenging projects, we are looking for an analytical, decisive, and results-oriented Project Manager. In this role, you will be the key figure in the development of innovative unmanned vessel systems and related projects, from concept to delivery. You will monitor the progress, quality, schedule, and budget of both commercial and R&D projects. You will coordinate with management and lead engineers, ensuring smooth collaboration among all stakeholders.

You keep a close eye on the project schedule and coordinate it with sales, service, R&D, and production activities. You anticipate changes in resources or deliverables and take the initiative in addressing them. You identify project risks, lead mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards. You regularly update stakeholders on progress.

What do you bring to the table?

• Technical degree at the academic level (relevant engineering background)
• Relevant work experience in technical project management (required)
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• An affinity for shipbuilding is a plus

Team-oriented, energetic, accurate, results- and goal-oriented, strong in planning, organizing, and coordinating, good communication skills, commercially minded, and pragmatic.
