As Planner Service Parts Repair & Circular Equipment, you are the linking pin between the SP&R organization in Factory Best and the Service Parts Supply Chain (SPS), with high interaction with SPS as your customer. You are responsible for managing repair orders raised by SPS end-to-end: from forecast and planning, receipt of defects, repair planning in-house and by 3rd parties, through to timely and complete delivery back to SPS.

You will drive demand forecast from SPS towards Factory Best, and forecasting for vendors on parts needed for repair. You will prioritize repairs in consultation with SPS and issue production schedules to the shop floor.

Your goal is to ensure a healthy balance between supply and demand in the short and midterm, optimizing inventory and sales, meeting SPS expectations for timely and complete deliveries, and enabling sustainable and predictable business growth.

You will be expected to develop more predictable planning in a more standardized and productivity-driven way. You are proactive and drive supply chain improvements that cross your path.

You will cover all service parts repair planning activities for Factory Best, where the workload is approximately 30% IGT and 70% MR.

Depending on factory workload and prioritization, you might also support the Circular Equipment factory in planning and supply chain improvements.

Your role

  • Drive a healthy balance between supply and demand in the long and mid term by ensuring timely and complete repair according to business priorities, while maintaining agreed SLAs and keeping inventory and cost within agreed limits.
  • Work daily with SP&R operations, manufacturing engineering, BIU ISC OMM buyers/planners, and SPS.
  • Keep participants and stakeholders on track toward planning and execution priorities; balance short and mid term sales and supply dynamics and changes; and manage exceptions where applicable.
  • Identify and drive inventory optimization across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Drive improvement of execution in forecast and delivery accuracy and customer delivery date reliability; provide strong expertise throughout the entire end-to-end process; and strengthen operational planning capabilities at all levels.

You are part of

The Factory Best organization, MR operations, working within the SP&R and/or CE operations team. You will interact with manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, and BIU ISC OMM buyers/planners to deliver required results. You will report to the Team Leader Repair & Circular Equipment MR/CT.

You're the right fit if

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. supply & demand planning, supply chain management, operational material management) or are able to function on that level.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operational material management on a global scale in a multinational company.
  • You demonstrate deep understanding of continuous improvement, problem-solving, Daily Management, and Lean principles.
  • You know how to listen to stakeholder needs and can manage stakeholders.
  • You feel comfortable challenging the status quo, persuasively navigating through resistance, and are pragmatic enough to overcome roadblocks.
  • You are results oriented, have good problem-solving skills, and a learning-by-doing mentality.
  • You have excellent numerical and analytical skills, and proficient knowledge of MS Office and data visualization tools such as Power BI and QlikSense.
  • You have proven experience in SAP (PP/MM) or another ERP system (preferred).
  • You are proficient in both Dutch and English, in verbal and written communication (other languages are beneficial).
  • You can work independently and, within your scope, make well-considered decisions.
  • Preferable knowledge of medical Quality Management Systems and relevant ISO standards.
  • Fluent English is a must and Dutch is highly desired.
