THE WORK

As a Manager or Senior Manager at Infrastructure & Capital Projects for Utilities, you are a true innovator and problem solver in the field of future energy network architecture, design & construction. You use the power of data and digital ingenuity to help our clients accelerate their journey towards a future-proof energy network. You work across the domains that determine how grid operators can build faster, smarter and more consistently: asset standardization and modularization, systems engineering, BIM, program management platforms and a factory approach to tendering and permitting.

Client leadership & value creation

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, program directors and key stakeholders at Dutch grid operators

• Shape and drive end-to-end transformation agendas covering network design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning

• Translate strategic ambitions (e.g. faster grid expansion, cost control, quality improvement) into executable programs with measurable outcomes

• Lead large, complex infrastructure and capital project engagements, often spanning multiple years, workstreams and partners

• Offer executive-level guidance on optimizing processes, leveraging data-driven decision-making, evaluating and implementing capital project systems, and facilitating stakeholder alignment throughout the entire capital project lifecycle

(Depending on your level, the scope of ownership varies: Managers typically lead large projects or critical workstreams, while Senior Managers own multi-year programs and executive client relationships.)

Business development & market growth

• Contribute to business development activities, from opportunity identification and deal shaping to proposal leadership and closing

• Develop value propositions around asset standardization, modularization, systems engineering, BIM, digital program management and industrialized delivery models

• Contribute to go-to-market strategies, thought leadership and client campaigns

• Build strong relationships across Accenture to bring the full power of Accenture to our clients

Practice & people leadership

• Build, lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams of consultants, engineers and technologists

• Coach and mentor managers and consultants, actively contributing to talent development, career progression and capability building

• Contribute to set the direction and sustainable growth for our Infrastructure & Capital Projects for Utilities community
