Purpose of the Role

We are hiring an Investment Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience to strengthen our deal team. You will work on live transactions from day one. This is a hands-on role, with broad exposure to transactions and close collaboration with partners, management teams and advisors. You will take ownership of key parts of the investment process, while developing towards independent deal responsibility over time.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and run financial models (DCF, LBO, trading comps)
• Support deal execution across all phases of the process
• Prepare investment materials and IC documentation
• Coordinate due diligence and track key workstreams
• Conduct market, company and competitor analyses
• Work with management teams on business plans and growth cases
• Support portfolio monitoring and impact reporting

Profile Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking or strategy consulting
• Strong analytical skills and solid modelling experience
• Comfortable working on multiple workstreams in parallel and under time pressure
• Enthousiastic about climate and the energy transition, prior experience is not required
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar
• Fluent in English; additional North-West European language skills (i.e. Dutch, German, Danish) a plus
• Extracurricular activities are a plus
