Thesis Internship - Cybersecurity

Internship details

You will be an intern within the Cyber Security group in Accenture. During the period of 4–6 months, you will do research about a topic and write your thesis in one of the fastest growing business areas in the world. Accenture will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge with the most innovative tools, technologies and methodologies.

• Team: In the Cyber Security department, the team is very diverse and ranges from junior consultants to senior managers who have gained knowledge from various (enterprise) projects. Our team consists of 100+ Cyber Security experts.
• Daily tasks: Besides working on your thesis, we have an active intern community where you can gain knowledge about the latest cyber security developments. You are also free to explore and connect with fellow peers on specific domains or industries. We also have events with interesting guest speakers so you can learn more about Accenture.
• Research: As a research intern, you will be given the freedom to write your own research proposal or choose the preferred domain/industry:

• Cyber Protect
• Cyber Resilience

Industries

• Communication, Media & Technology (CMT)
• Products (PRD)
• Resources (RES)
• Health and Public Service (H&PS)
• Financial Services (FS)

These domains and industries are not siloed; cross-collaboration is not only possible, but highly valuable.

Explore how retail organizations translate abstract cyber risk appetite into concrete governance mechanisms, controls, and decision-making processes.

Qualification

Here’s What You’ll Need

• You are currently a bachelor or master student who is enrolled in a Dutch hogeschool /university during the whole length of the internship.
• Fluency in Dutch (spoken and written) and English
• You are writing your thesis and are available for a period of 4-6 months
• You take responsibility and are proactive

• An internship compensation of 500 euros on 40 hours per week
• Travel allowance (if you don’t have studentenreisproduct/public transportation card)
