Senior BI & Data Analytics Specialist

Job description

We are looking for a BI Developer / Power BI Specialist to strengthen our data and analytics capabilities and support our Digital Transformation journey. In this role, you combine hands-on BI development with improving and shaping our overall data landscape. You will be responsible for building impactful dashboards and insights, while also ensuring that the underlying data structure, governance, and architecture are scalable and future-proof. You work closely with business stakeholders, IT, and external partners to make sure our BI solutions truly support decision-making across the organization. You’ll play a key role in bringing our BI environment and data maturity to the next level, directly contributing to better performance, transparency, and commercial impact.

Your responsibilties include:

• Designing and building Power BI dashboards and BI solutions that turn data into clear, actionable insights
• Acting as the bridge between business and data by translating needs into smart data models and reporting solutions
• Preparing, structuring, and modeling data to ensure reliable and scalable reporting
• Setting up and improving the BI landscape, including data architecture such as integration layers and data lakes
• Driving adoption of BI by making insights accessible and valuable for stakeholders across the organization
• Owning key dashboards and executive reporting, supporting leadership in data-driven decision-making
• Improving data quality and governance to ensure consistency and trust in the data
• Leading BI initiatives from idea to implementation, ensuring smooth delivery and adoption
• Continuously improving the Power BI environment and exploring opportunities such as automation and AI-driven insights
• Collaborating closely with IT and Digital teams to further develop the data and BI landscape
• Supporting users with training, documentation, and guidance to get the most out of BI tools

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

• Hands-on, business-oriented BI professional working at the intersection of data and stakeholders
• 5–7 years BI development experience, with Power BI expertise
• Experience setting up or improving BI environments, data landscapes, and managing projects end-to-end
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and modern data architectures (data lakes a plus)
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and manage multiple priorities
• Experience or knowledge of PowerApps and/or Power Automate is a plus
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
