As our Digital Brand Designer, you are the creative engine behind some of the most recognizable names in travel: CheapTickets, Vliegwinkel, BudgetAir, and Flugladen.

Your mission is to ensure that every pixel across every digital channel tells a compelling story. You won’t just “follow” brand guidelines; you will protect them, evolve them, and scale the visual world of our brands. Using AI-first solutions, you will accelerate the creation, scaling, and optimization of visual assets.

Your Collaborative Ecosystem

You’ll be a key player within our Commercial Department, at the heart of a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team, and report to the Sr. Commercial Director. You’ll work closely with:

  • Brand & PR Manager: to ensure our visual storytelling is cohesive and impactful.
  • Regional E-commerce Managers: to tailor market-specific assets that drive real results.
  • CRM Manager: to create personalized, engaging visuals that keep travelers coming back.
  • Paid Social Manager: to develop high-performing creative assets for social campaigns.

Core tasks and responsibilities

  • Architect Digital Campaigns: Develop and deliver high-impact visual assets and templates for on-site and off-site marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Champion our brand by translating complex business strategies into compelling, scroll-stopping visual stories.
  • AI-Driven Innovation: You use AI tools as a normal part of your production process. To move faster on repetitive work, explore options quickly, and keep your energy for the decisions that actually need a designer's eye.
  • Design Systems & Operations: Build and optimize scalable workflows across Figma, Channable, Smartly.io, Google Sheets, and cloud-based asset management solutions to support seamless collaboration with the marketing team. Manage the full technical lifecycle of creative assets, ensuring consistent naming conventions, correct format specifications, market-level precision, and asset libraries that are organized, current, and easily accessible across teams.
  • Brand Guardianship & Experimentation: Act as the final authority on brand consistency, ensuring every asset meets our high standards for quality, brand guidelines, and technical execution, while driving creativity through new concepts and trials, and testing and implementing new digital creative layouts within established brand guardrails to evolve formats without compromising visual identity.

What you bring to the table

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related creative field.

Your Skillset

  • Masterful Design Craft: You possess deep proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, backed by a portfolio that showcases clean, technically precise, and consistent digital design. You treat brand systems with care and craft.
  • AI-Forward Mindset: You already use AI tools in your daily work. Not as an experiment, but as a habit (for image generation, copy assistance, or workflow automation). You know how to leverage AI to work faster without ever sacrificing quality.
  • Tooling Mastery & Technical Execution: Bring hands-on experience with Smartly.io, Channable, and Google Sheets for creative management and tracking, while experience with DAM tools is a strong advantage. As a systems thinker, you are comfortable managing templates and asset libraries across multiple markets and take pride in organized file structures, rigorous quality control, and flawless execution.
  • Platform Expertise: You have a native understanding of digital ad formats for Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest, including safe zones, specs, and production-ready requirements.
  • The Perfectionist’s Eye: You catch the 1px misalignment, the slightly-off font weight, and the missing market adaptation. To you, quality is a point of pride.
  • Proactive Communication: You are a reliable collaborator who flags blockers early, asks the right questions, and delivers results without last-minute surprises.
  • Language: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch, German, or French is a strong plus.
