What are you going to do?

As an electrical architect, you are responsible for translating the electrical engineering challenges of the system into one or more concepts. This is done in close consultation with the customer and the system architect. You know how to break down the problem into manageable pieces. You choose between an implementation with commercially available (COTS) components or with specifically developed elements. You then work with the team to develop a suitable implementation. You value quality and are pragmatic at the same time.

You look beyond just electrical engineering and are the critical factor in the project. In addition, you ensure coordination with the customer, the system architect and the other disciplines in the project. In this way, you arrive at the best solution for the system.

You are responsible for the electrical work package within the project, managing and supervising a team of designers. You are constantly looking for improvements and new technologies and strive for the highest level. You use the usual standards, such as CE, UL and applicable IEC standards. You contribute to the advancement of electrical competence. In addition, you enjoy coaching colleagues and sharing your knowledge with others within and outside your field. Your vision for the future of the department is greatly appreciated.

What do you bring to the table?

• A completed higher professional education degree in electrical engineering
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience as an electrical engineer/architect
