Medior CRM Lifecycle Consultant

JOB PURPOSE

As a Medior CRM Lifecycle Consultant, you translate CRM and Digital Marketing strategy into concrete CRM (email, SMS, push) campaigns, journeys and segmentation. You focus on the “what”, “when” and “where” of customer interactions throughout the lifecycle, ensuring campaigns are relevant, timely, and aligned with business goals and customer experience principles.

You collaborate with CRM and digital marketing managers, bridging high-level strategy and hands-on execution. You own tactical journey designs, customer behavior insights, and end-to-end campaign management, overseeing operational execution and optimization across monthly and quarterly planning horizons.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Concept and build end-to-end lifecycle journeys, including welcome, onboarding, engagement, upsell, retention, loyalty, and winback programmes;
  • Define audiences, segmentation logic, triggers, lifecycle moments, and messaging principles across touchpoints;
  • Act as end-to-end campaign owner, oversee planning, operational execution, monitoring, and optimization of CRM campaigns;
  • Conduct performance reviews (QBRs) of lifecycle programs and email campaigns, leveraging metrics (KPIs, conversion, retention) to recommend improvements;
  • Ensure all CRM journeys, campaigns, and content align with strategic goals, customer experience principles, and brand guidelines;
  • Work closely with Activation teams to brief journey and campaign requirements, and with Engineering teams to define data needs, tracking, and technical dependencies;
  • Collaborate with senior and medior colleagues, learning and contributing to lifecycle strategy, execution, and campaign management;
  • Act as the bridge between high-level strategy (CRM/Digital Marketing Strategists) and execution (Activation & Engineering).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 2-4 years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or customer journey design;
  • Solid understanding of customer behaviour, lifecycle thinking, and segmentation models;
  • Hands-on experience with one or more CRM platforms (like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bloomreach, Adobe Campaign, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Emarsys and others);
  • Experience managing end-to-end CRM campaigns, from planning to execution and optimization;
  • A data-informed, performance-driven mindset with strong familiarity with CRM KPIs;
  • A structured way of working, with strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills;
  • Experience in an agency or complex, multi-disciplinary environment is a plus;
  • Located and available to start working directly from our Amsterdam or Rotterdam offices;
  • Full working proficiency in Dutch and English.
