Trainee Finance Accounting

As a Trainee Finance Accounting, you will support the Finance Accounting team of Epson EMEAR with daily operational tasks.

This internship is designed to give you a hands-on view of how finance works in an international company: concrete tasks, real responsibilities, and guidance from a team that will coach you throughout your journey.

You will work with experienced finance professionals, learn key accounting processes, and gradually take ownership of your own tasks.

Please note that you must be enrolled at a university in the Netherlands to be eligible for this internship.

What you will do

Accounting operations

• Process manual journal entries in SAP
• Support credit card reconciliations
• Assist with employee expense report checks and analysis
• Help with account and transaction reviews, including basic cost interpretation
• Contribute to the preparation of the company trial balance
• Support reconciliation of General Ledger accounts

Internal Controls & Documentation

• Help organize and update internal control documentation
• Assist with various ad hoc data entry tasks and account reconciliations linked to daily finance operations

What we ask for

• Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or master’s in business, Economics, Finance (minimum 3 years completed)
• Looking for a 6–9-month internship during your final study year
• Good understanding of finance and basic accounting
• Comfortable working with numbers and reporting tools
• Experience with Excel (financial analysis or reporting skills are a plus)
• Interest in ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus but not required)
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
