About this opportunity:

Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for 60 million students, across 120,000 institutions, to share 50 million study resources (1 new each second!) We even offer cutting-edge AI learning tools such as Studocu AI and Class Recording on the Studocu app.

Now, we’re looking for more exceptional talent to help us build what’s next. Join our team of 132+ talented, unique and ambitious individuals from all over the world - just like the students who use our platform - and let’s grow smarter, together.

In this opportunity, you’ll join Studocu as a Site Reliability Engineer, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the systems that power StuDocu’s internal operations and workflows.

You will work within our Technical Excellence team to build and maintain the infrastructure running Kestra, our workflow orchestration platform used across multiple teams.

Your focus will be on improving infrastructure reliability, scaling workflow systems, and helping transform Kestra into a platform used by teams across the company.

  • Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases in production environments
  • Scale our workflow orchestration system handling thousands of tasks per minute

  • Help expand the Kestra platform for use by teams across different cloud environments
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to support internal systems and workflows
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in an optional on-call rotation

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Infrastructure
  • Strong experience running production systems at scale
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with observability tools i.e. Grafana, Prometheus/Mimir, or Loki
  • Experience with AWS is a must - experience with other cloud providers is a bonus
  • Experience managing systems with high throughput or heavy workloads
  • Experience working with workflow orchestration systems is ideal
  • Prior experience with Kestra is a big plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical topics into clear explanations
