What you actually do

As a Medior Creative Developer – Industry X Industrial Design, you'll be joining our Creative Engineering team across two studios (Eindhoven and The Hague). Whereas product designers and mechanical engineers are responsible for the look and feel of a physical product, you are responsible for delivering amazing digital experiences while staying agile. We aim to use our in-house developed hardware and software tools to foster a collaborative spirit, so that designers and engineers can work together to more quickly prototype ideas and provide feedback, which is a vital part of our central design thinking approach.

Simply put, as creative developer, you'll lead the development of exciting new products for a wide variety of client challenges. You will work on product development for both the Consumer and Professional Domain, with clients in kitchen appliances, the maritime industry, medical equipment, high-tech, utilities and more.

The developers of Accenture Industry X operate in multi-disciplinary agile project teams and are involved right from the concept phase. This means you co-create closely with e.g. UI/UX designers but also run field tests and have direct contact with the client. You’ll be given a lot of creative freedom; in return we expect you to take ownership of your work and be creative in finding solutions.

At Accenture Industry X you will work alongside many other disciplines, such as product design, UX design, strategy, project management and mechanical engineering.
