About this role:

As the Sales Commercial Planner, you have a unique position to drive the commercial strategy and operational efficiency within the Sales & Marketing teams. In this role, your primary responsibility is to drive targeted promotional and tactical planning for the Netherlands market. By establishing the foundation for these plans and aligning the sales teams' execution, you directly influence the commercial trajectory and overall performance of the country.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Promotional Planning & Coordination: Coordinate and integrate all planned promotional activities (deals, discounts, in-store promotions) into the sales forecast, and work with different sales and marketing teams to create an aligned year-round planning to win the market.
  • Tactical Planning: Analyse gaps in our partner estate and deliver tactical planning for sales teams to reach country objectives and targets.
  • Analysis & Adjustment: Support the Trading department with forecast accuracy and identify the causes of deviations (root-cause analysis) to refine the forecasting models.
  • Pre-evaluation: Conduct “what-if” analyses to support Sales and Marketing in estimating the ROI (Return on Investment) and volume impact of planned promotions, and maintain enablement materials for both partners and commercial teams.
  • Insights and Reports: Generate standardized and ad-hoc management reports on sales and the effectiveness of commercial initiatives.
  • Manage and act as the SME: Own offer tooling for the NL market, identify product opportunities, and provide input to improvements in offer tooling that help Thuisbezorgd.nl and our partners win the market.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Minimum of Bachelor's or Master's degree level of working and thinking in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Demand or Supply Chain Planning, Sales Operations, or Category Management.
  • Excellent ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate actionable insights into concrete action plans.
  • Ability to act in an ever-changing environment and complex organisational structure.
  • A flexible, result- and solution-oriented, and creative way of operating.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ownership, innovation, customer focus, getting it done, partnership, and responsibility.
