About the role: FP&A CoE Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical Manager with a passion for continuous improvement and process excellence to join our newly created FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE), with an initial focus on People Cost & Headcount as part of a broader FP&A CoE mandate. You will contribute to and help standardize Headcount/S&B forecasting process, create standards, drive accuracy across planning horizons, and deliver clear financial workforce insights that strengthen decision-making across the enterprise. The role may expand into additional CoE swim lanes based on business needs and the candidate’s skillset.

About the FP&A CoE Team

The FP&A CoE is a new global team centralizing core planning, reporting, analytics, and data governance activities to reduce duplication, build scalability and accelerate digital transformation. The team standardizes processes and templates, improves data quality, and partners with Digital/IT (DIO) and HR to enable predictive, automated, and insight-rich FP&A.

Responsibilities

  • People Cost & HC Forecasting: Partner on forecast and budget process across the enterprise. Support the development of and maintain driver-based models for compensation, benefits, and workforce planning; produce variance analysis and executive-ready commentary.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Streamline workflows and controls; identify automation opportunities (reporting, reconciliations, validations) and help deploy best-practice templates for the global CoE in collaboration with the CFO Transformation, DIO, and Data & Analytics teams.
  • Data Stewardship & Governance: Ensure integrity of HC and People Cost data across Workday, Oracle/EPM, and related systems; maintain definitions, forecast drivers/methodologies, and assumptions; proactively surface data quality issues and coordinate remediation with the CFO Transformation & DIO.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and FP&A on scenario exploration (e.g., hiring phasing, location strategies) and translate trends into clear financial narratives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–8+ years in FP&A, People Cost analytics, workforce planning, or related roles in a matrixed environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR Analytics, Economics, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proven affinity and experience with large datasets, analytics, and finance systems; experience with Workday, Oracle EPM/Anaplan, and BI tools a plus; expert in Excel.
  • Business & Communication: Ability to translate data into insights; influence cross-functional stakeholders; concise, executive-ready communication.
  • Mindset: Builder mentality, comfort with ambiguity and operating across multiple CoE lanes, and a focus on standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement.
