Are you an ambitious (Finance) professional that knows how to handle projects, can support the delivery of larger programs and has affinity with the difficult topics in the Finance landscape? Do you want to further advance your career in Project Management and contribute towards our Finance community and achieving our desired Future Ready state?

What you are going to do

As Jr. Project Manager you will directly support and work together with our Project- and Program Managers in multi-disciplinary change initiatives in areas such as Finance Strategy, Process Optimization & Redesign, Finance Transformation, IT/system implementation, and regulatory implementations. You will have a critical role in ensuring effective and efficient change execution and will act as the trusted go-to person in terms of project management support and central project oversight to ensure all projects realize the desired benefits within time and budget.

You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of our change initiatives, from initiation (analysing current core finance processes; understanding business context & translating this to tangible outcomes & deliverables; preparing workshops with content experts) to project delivery (milestone planning; alignment with key stakeholders; status reporting; monitoring of key risks, issues and dependencies; insight in project financials and business cases), besides picking up your own (sub-)projects.

Other responsibilities are:

  • Support delivery of larger programs and own (smaller scale) projects or workstreams across Group Finance within scope and time
  • Act as the vital link between Business, IT, and other stakeholders and proactively liaise to align on deliverables and actionable next steps
  • Produce management information including scenario analysis, impact analysis and documents that are ‘for decision’ and organize Steering Committees
  • Proactively contribute solutions, deliver insights for challenges and support driving decision making to achieve strategic objectives

What we offer you

NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and in skills and competences for the future. This way, we offer our employees the opportunity to get the best out of themselves. We offer you:

  • 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary
  • A modern pension administered by BeFrank
  • Plenty of training and learning opportunities
  • NS Business Card 2nd class, which gives you unlimited travel, also privately. Do you prefer to travel with your own transport? Then you can declare the kilometres travelled
  • Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use

Who you are

We are looking for someone with Project Management skills and 2-3 years’ experience in supporting project execution and delivering PMO tasks, with experience in the field of Finance. You have a proactive attitude, you have a natural talent for stakeholder management and building relationships across departments, you thrive when working on complex topics and know how to align diverse interests towards a common goal, you are a self-starter who takes ownership and likes to analyse, solve problems and deliver.

Next to the above you:

  • Are convincing, a critical thinker and can adapt a story to different audiences
  • Have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment
  • Have a Prince2, Agile certification or the ambition to get these
  • Are a strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and/or English
  • Have a relevant University Degree; preferably a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business & IT or similar

Who you will work with

You will be part of our pool of Project & Change management experts within the Strategy & Transformation team, in a dynamic environment within a diverse team of Finance and change professionals with which you will work on a daily basis. You will be supported in taking the lead in designing your own career path, by helping you to build content expertise in a specific or a variety of Finance domains and/or to develop yourself towards a Project/Program Manager role in the future.
