Senior Manager Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting

About the role

In this role, you will be part of the Group Accounting, Consolidation and Reporting (“GACR”) team which is responsible for consolidation and financial reporting of Versuni, as well as the annual, quarterly, and monthly financial reporting cycles. The team is based in Amsterdam and has a size of 7 people. We are an international team and GACR also works on significant projects within Versuni such as finance improvement projects.

The impact you’ll make:

• Lead and organize the monthly, quarterly and year-end group consolidation and reporting process, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery, focusing on P&L.
• Review and challenge submissions from group entities, ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance with group policies and IFRS.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS, including P&L and cash flow and own the quality & timeliness of the delivery.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the Treasury accounting process including delivery of monthly cycles.
• Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including those for the investors.
• Support the external audit process and ensure audit requirements are met on time.
• Drive continuous improvement in consolidation and reporting processes, including automation, system enhancements, and internal controls.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and manuals.
• Serve as bridge between the Group Accounting team in Amsterdam and the Accenture support team in India supporting the Month-end Closing process.
• Support various finance improvement projects and lead the projects related to own area of responsibility.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance; a CPA, ACCA, or RA qualification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8 plus years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in a multinational company or Big 4 audit firm.
• Experience in consolidation and financial accounting/reporting.
• Familiar with IFRS and willing to expand knowledge in area of financial accounting.
• Proven track record of managing complex reporting cycles and working in an international environment.
• Strong ownership, detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong sense for cultural differences and how to bridge them.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, work accurately and with a structured approach.
• Strong team player and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
• Experience with SAP solutions (SAP group reporting) and skill set in data analysis.
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
