Tax Accounting and Reporting Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced tax accounting and reporting lead. In this role, you will manage the group’s tax accounting and reporting position, ensuring accurate reflection of local positions. You will collaborate closely with other tax team members, the global accounting team, and local finance teams across all countries where Versuni operates.

The impact you’ll make:

• Own and continuously improve the group tax accounting and reporting framework for the Netherlands HQ and international entities, with focus on quality, efficiency and automation
• Safeguard accurate, timely and compliant tax accounting and reporting across the group
• Act as lead for year-end tax audits, including preparation of tax notes, group tax consolidation, ETR, deferred tax positions, NOLs and topside adjustments
• Manage and review ETR forecasting, reconciliation and transfer processes
• Oversee tax pack and Longview reporting for non-NL entities, including review of RTPs, goodwill tax reporting, DTA realization assessments and withholding tax reporting
• Manage the Dutch tax provision (including fiscal unity), uncertain tax positions, goodwill and FX impacts, interest limitation schedules and TP adjustments
• Monitor and manage the group’s Pillar Two position, including transitional CbCR safe harbor calculations, in close collaboration with the Global Head of Direct Tax

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

• Strong expertise in tax accounting and reporting within a multinational environment
• Proven experience managing group tax provisions, ETR, deferred taxes, tax goodwill and uncertain tax positions
• Solid track record acting as key counterpart to external auditors, including preparation of tax notes, audit memos and tax positions
• Hands-on experience with group reporting tools, tax packs and consolidation processes
• Working knowledge of Pillar Two requirements and international tax reporting frameworks
• Ability to translate complex tax matters into clear, practical guidance for finance teams and stakeholders
• Strong communication and drafting skills in English; knowledge of Dutch tax law and Dutch language is a plus
