Creative Developer

We are looking for an innovative and collaborative Creative Developer to join our team. This role is for a developer who lives at the intersection of code and art. You will be responsible for bringing our digital experiences to life with fluid animations, interactive 3D visuals, and cutting-edge web technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible on the web.

• Adaptable & Innovative Mindset: A natural curiosity and eagerness to explore new technologies and venture into uncharted territory. You shouldn't shy away from learning something new to solve a problem.

• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Fully embraces AI technologies to optimize their workflow, from in-IDE assistants (like GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to external tools and command-line agents.

• Knowledge of Design Systems: Experience with or a solid understanding of design systems is a significant plus. Familiarity with tools like Figma and Tokens Studio is highly valued.

What you’ll do

• Act as a key technical partner for the design team. Your creative and technical input is crucial for prototyping and will help shape the design direction from the earliest concepts.

• Work in tight collaboration with our designers to translate creative concepts and Figma designs into breathtaking, interactive web experiences.

• Develop highly interactive and visually stunning web interfaces using React and Next.js.

• Create and implement 3D graphics and animations using Three.js, with direct WebGL experience considered a major plus.

• Craft intricate, performant animations using code (e.g., Framer Motion, GSAP, or CSS animations).

Key technical strengths we’re looking for

• Core Frontend: Proficient in React and Next.js.

• Creative Tech: Deep expertise in Three.js, with direct WebGL experience considered a major plus.

• Headless CMS: Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms like Sanity (our default), Contentful, DatoCMS, or Strapi.

• Animation: Demonstrable skills in coded animation libraries and techniques.

• Our Stack: Experience with our standard tools is a plus: Vite, Storybook, Vanilla Extract, Figma, Tokens Studio.
