Introduction

At the Software Infrastructure and Computer Systems department, you join a team that builds the platform software powering ASML’s advanced systems. The group develops solutions that help engineers integrate and release software reliably and at scale. As part of this environment, the Computer Science | Software Engineering internship: quality metrics dashboard allows you to work on meaningful challenges that improve software quality. You will contribute to better insights, smoother workflows, and more efficient engineering processes. This internship offers a dynamic setting where you learn directly from experienced professionals.

Your assignment

During this internship, you design and implement a full‑stack dashboard that brings clarity to software and organizational quality indicators. You create tools that reveal trends, support decision-making, and reduce manual effort. You explore how visualization and automation help teams work more effectively.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Designing a full‑stack dashboard with clear and interactive visualizations
  • Building data pipelines and APIs to collect and process quality information
  • Using AI techniques to predict trends and detect anomalies
  • Developing a responsive, user-friendly interface with modern web technologies
  • Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to gather needs and validate features
  • Translating multiple use cases into dashboard functions in an iterative way
  • Documenting your design, implementation, and usage guidelines

This is a bachelor/master internship (not suited for thesis) for minimum 6 months, minimum 5 days per week (3 days on‑site). The start date of this internship is as of as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Have experience with front-end development using React and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Are familiar with back-end development using Python or Golang
  • Understand basic API design principles
  • Show a proactive, analytical, and collaborative mindset

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
