This role is for a Consumer Marketing Manager – Growth at Philips.

Your challenge:

The Consumer Marketing Manager – Growth ensures growth models are clearly defined, quantified, and embedded across the organization and regions, translating consumer and category insights into actionable strategies and compelling trade stories that drive sustainable category growth.

Your role:

Category Growth Model & Story-to-Trade

  • Support development the Category Growth Model, rooted in deep consumer and category insights, to articulate clear growth drivers and opportunities
  • Translate the Growth Model into a compelling Category Story-to-trade that equips Regions with a differentiated and persuasive narrative for retailer partners
  • Operationalize the Growth Model with Regions enabling consistent external engagement and execution
  • Maintain, refresh, and evolve the Category Growth Model and Story-to-Trade to reflect new trends, competitive dynamics, and category performance

Life-Time Value & 5-Pillar Growth Model

  • Define the North Star for growth: clarify the Why, What, and How of the 5 Pillar Growth Model, ensuring E2E understanding and alignment
  • Quantify key deliverables versus SPOR, embedding growth objectives into measurable targets
  • Operationalize the model across the E2E organization, ensuring adoption across Innovation, Markets, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
  • Maintain, refresh, and evolve the framework to reflect changing consumer behaviors, market dynamics, and innovation priorities
  • Act as the guardian of consumer lifetime value principles, ensuring all initiatives ladder up to long-term value creation.

Portfolio strategic initiatives

  • Lead strategic cross-portfolio initiatives (e.g. development of product / portfolio capabilities & enablers)
  • Develop global and scalable Commercial Innovation value propositions
  • Orchestrate cadence of commercial innovation development and project intake. Coordinate within marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure project execution

Cross-category Subject-Matter-Expert

  • Act as a SME on portfolio strategy, advising BU and Regions on cross-category initiative
  • Lead cross-category roadmap and initiatives (eg sustainability, claims)

You're the right fit if:

  • You bring 3-5 years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, strategy, and/or business management experience
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of marketing / brand management of consumer products/FMCG including new product / category introductions.
  • Proven record of accomplishment with global consumer / retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing, and sales teams, and create network within and outside the organization
  • Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record
