Ready to kick-start your career in quantitative finance and shape the future of Rabobank’s balance sheet?

Join our Treasury Balance Sheet Management (BSM) team in Utrecht and become part of a program designed to turn talented young professionals into the next generation of quantitative experts.

About the early career program

As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you’ll dive into the heart of Rabobank’s Treasury operations. Our BSM department is responsible for managing interest rate and liquidity risk, designing funding strategies, and modelling client behaviour. These are critical activities that keep Rabobank financially strong and resilient.

Over 18 months, you’ll rotate across different teams within BSM, gaining hands-on experience and building a broad expertise in balance sheet management. Every Friday is dedicated to training and development, both technical (e.g., Python, modelling) and soft skills, so you grow into a well-rounded professional.

By the end of the program, you’ll be a fully-fledged Quantitative BSM Analyst, equipped with deep expertise in data analysis and balance sheet management, ready to take on complex challenges in the banking world.

This is what we offer you

  • Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 3,447 and EUR 4,923 (scale 07) for a 40-hour work week.
