What you will do in this role 🧐

We’re looking for a curious and hands-on Junior Legal Counsel to strengthen our Legal team. If you have experience with EU privacy law, enjoy reviewing contracts, and want to grow in a friendly SaaS scale-up — this role will be a great fit.

You’ll support privacy compliance and commercial contracting while learning from senior legal colleagues. We don’t expect you to know everything — we’ll help you grow into it.

You’ll be involved in:

• Driving our privacy & GDPR program → DPAs, DPIAs, privacy-by-design, documentation & tooling (this will be your main focus)

• Reviewing and drafting commercial agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, standard partnership terms

• Providing practical advice on privacy, compliance, and commercial topics

• Working with the Head of Legal and Senior Legal Counsel on escalations and day-to-day matters

• Supporting contract management processes and legal tooling implementation

Our perfect match 💗

• Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Law — preferably with a focus on privacy or commercial law

• 2+ years of experience in privacy law (in-house or law firm) and the ambition to specialize further (please note: for this role internships are not considered fulltime working experience)

• Understanding of EU privacy law (GDPR), Dutch privacy law (AVG), and the ePrivacy Directive

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset — someone who learns fast and takes ownership

Nice to have ✨

• CIPP/E certification

• Experience with commercial contracting

• Experience in eCommerce, SaaS/tech, or fast-paced scale-ups

• Interest in deepening privacy expertise over time

• Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
