At Rituals, we are looking for a (Senior) Regulatory Specialist – Middle East to strengthen our Regulatory team within the Sourcing, Quality & Regulatory department.

In this role, you ensure that Rituals products meet all applicable regulatory requirements across the Middle East region, encompassing product registration and notification, labeling, and market compliance. You play a crucial role in enabling our products to reach existing and new markets safely, compliantly, and on time. Working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, third-party partners, and regulatory authorities, you translate complex international regulations into clear, practical guidance. You support both existing and newly developed products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring continuous compliance in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape. In short, you are a key contributor to market compliance in the Middle East, safeguarding our ability to grow internationally while maintaining the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product registration and notification processes, with a primary focus on the Middle East region.
  • Support compliance with relevant international laws and regulations for both existing and new products.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the international Rituals sales organization and third parties involved in registrations and notifications.
  • Coordinate the preparation, provision, legalization, and follow-up of required regulatory documentation and certificates.
  • Monitor and follow up on regulatory changes to ensure ongoing market compliance.
  • Review and approve draft artwork and product labeling for new product introductions.
  • Collect, manage, review, and maintain regulatory documentation and databases.
  • Stay up to date on developments within the regulatory field and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely and compliant product launches.

Bring all of you

You are a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory professional who enjoys working in an international, fast-paced environment. You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably within the cosmetics industry (Middle East and/or APAC experience is a strong plus).
  • A degree in Law, Chemistry, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Solid knowledge of EU and international regulations, such as EU Cosmetics Regulation, CLP, REACH, and related frameworks.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex compliance topics.
  • A collaborative mindset with a hands-on, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Strong affinity with regulatory activities within the cosmetics industry.

At Rituals, we believe in the power of connection: with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. That is why we work 80% from the office (typically four days per week) and 20% from home.
