As a UX Designer at Philips, you will create clear, intuitive tools and interactions that help employees and people leaders seamlessly navigate organizational processes.

Your role:

  • You will help improve everyday work experiences for Philips employees and people leaders by designing solutions that make organizational processes easier to understand and use. Your work will directly support productivity, engagement, and the quality of employee experiences across teams, contributing to Philips’ mission to improve lives through meaningful innovation.
  • You will be part of the central Innovation & Design Experience Design team, collaborating closely with global People Function (Human Resources) stakeholders to design experiences that work across tools, touchpoints, and services.
  • This role offers the opportunity to grow both depth and range in your design practice. You will strengthen your UX and service design craft, build confidence working in complex enterprise environments, and expand your skills in areas such as systems thinking, AI-enabled design, and advanced prototyping. You will also have access to learning, mentorship, and a global design community that values quality and impact.
  • From competitive compensation to a global design community and mentorship, a career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about benefits in your region.

You’re the right fit if:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in UX design, service design, or interaction design, and are comfortable leading work independently in complex environments.
  • You have strong skills in user-centered design, journey mapping, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping, with hands-on experience using tools such as Figma, Miro, and modern AI-supported design workflows.
  • You have experience in initiating and leading research and testing efforts to discover needs and opportunities, set design direction, and drive iteration and continuous improvement.
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Service Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, collaborating across disciplines, and balancing user needs with business and technical constraints. Experience in healthcare or employee experience is a plus but not required.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office based role.
