About this position
As Manager Industrialization & Scale‑Up, you will be the global process owner for the industrialization and scale‑up of adhesive technologies. You will define, standardize, and govern the global scale‑up framework across regions, technologies, and strategic business units, ensuring robust handover from lab to production with reduced risk and accelerated time‑to‑market. You will drive best‑practice execution, improve right‑first‑time performance, and build global capability through training and knowledge sharing.
What you’ll do
Global Industrialization & Scale‑Up Leadership
- Own the global industrialization and scale‑up process, including standardized steps, deliverables, and decision gates applied across regions, technologies, and SBUs.
- Ensure robust and consistent scale‑up from laboratory, through pilot plant, to full production.
- Act as global process owner for the Adhesives Development Process (ADP), ensuring disciplined process documentation and execution.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Global AO Pilot Plant Heads, Product Development Heads, and Operations leadership to align scale‑up activities with technology standards and long‑term manufacturing strategy.
- Drive reduction of scrap, increase scale‑up success rates, and improve release performance metrics.
- Support cross‑regional teams in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and process optimization.
Standardization, Best Practices & Continuous Improvement
- Lead the global standardization of industrialization practices and facilitate best practice replication across regions and sites.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance robustness, efficiency, and time‑to‑market.
- Capture and disseminate learnings to build a culture of operational excellence.
Capability Building & Knowledge Management
- Develop and deploy global training programs and eLearning materials to upskill the organization on scale‑up and ADP processes.
- Support development of aligned documentation, process flows, SOPs, and decision gate criteria.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators such as scale‑up success rate, costs, and lead‑time improvements.
What makes you a good fit
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in process development, scale‑up, industrialization, or related roles.
- Experience with multi‑site global projects and working in international, matrixed environments preferred.
