As an HR Operations Intern, you will be the first point of contact for Managers and Employees at all levels of the organization regarding HR policies, HR life cycle processes, and Workday system questions or issues. You will be responsible for answering and handling inbound calls and cases from internal customers on HR-related issues, as well as redirecting questions to other appropriate HR resources such as Payroll, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation & Benefits.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses via telephone and the HR case management system.
  • Ensure that every question or issue is entered as a case in the case management system and maintain customer contact until the case has been resolved or is transferred to another relevant party for resolution, such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Work Place Practices, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Global Mobility.
  • Support workforce administration processing, data input, and verification of required documentation on designated HR employee life cycle activities such as new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary changes, personal data changes, position management, job title changes, supervisor changes, department changes, or any other job changes. This includes the production of employment contracts, termination letters, transfer letters, salary change notifications, employment testimonials, relevant addenda, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot employee and manager-related workforce transactions and issues.
  • Direct employees and managers to the appropriate online support materials, reports, tools, systems, and/or vendors, if applicable.
  • Escalate complex cases to other functions such as Payroll Specialists, Benefits Administrators, Recruiters, Compensation Analysts, HR Business Partners, etc., with deeper subject matter expertise when additional research or interpretation is required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or have relevant experience, and are enrolled at an accredited university for the duration of the internship (6 months up to 1 year).
  • Fluent in Polish and English (required). Additional fluency in French, German, Spanish, Dutch, or other European languages is highly desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent customer service and administrative orientation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage confidential data and work professionally with colleagues in establishing and adhering to data governance standards.

Additional Information:

  • Nature of the contract: Internship
  • Duration of the contract: 6-12 months
  • Internship allowance: 1,000.00 EUR monthly
  • Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
