Introduction to the role

The TWINSCAN Factory (TF) is responsible for the production of ASML lithography systems including planning and logistics. We strive to be the role model Lean Factory where quality comes first but where safety goes before all. The Motion team ensures production and competence development of performance-critical, litho-specific actuators. Our work guarantees availability of next-level actuators for ASML’s products. In all ASML systems you will find multiple actuators: XT, NXT, NXE and EXE. Actuators are part of the Wafer Stage and Reticle Stage modules. We also manufacture coil assemblies and magnet yokes. We contribute to all business lines of ASML and are organized as a competence and organizationally part of TWINSCAN Factory.

Mission & vision
The First Line Support (FLS) team provides first line support for technical disturbances during production of Motion actuators, coil sets and magnet yokes. Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage disturbances throughout the production processes of our products
  • Identify improvement areas
  • Manage escalations using PCCSIM problem solving phases for issues such as Yield Loss (Risk)
  • Coach colleagues in troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Collaborate in teams E2E to solve and prevent cross-modular technical issues

Education and experience

  • A technical bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Automotive, Aerospace, or equivalent (proof of same level reached through experience or courses)
  • 5 years of experience in a technical support production environment
  • Experience with troubleshooting: analyzing problems, finding root-cause and determining solution
  • Experience with escalation management; lead complex technical disturbances escalation meetings, identify and interact with key stakeholders and participants, moderate brainstorms, formulate conclusions and report out
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methods

  • You are analytical, structured, persistent in acting on available information
  • Combining an analytical approach with a hands-on mentality
  • Focused on quality and continuous improvement
  • Good social and communication skills to work with other departments, such as production and development engineering
  • Adequate English language skills in speech and writing
  • Dutch is the main language on the production floor; Dutch language skills are a plus but not mandatory
  • Initiative, pro-active, flexible, problem solver, team player

For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between €57,000 - €67,000. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing and shift allowance (if applicable) are not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
