OWOW A.K.A. Omnipresent World of Wizkids is a digital agency that designs and develops web platforms and mobile apps for innovative clients around the globe. We work with a diverse range of organisations, from ambitious startups to industry leaders. At OWOW you will find a team of 30+ Wizkids from various digital disciplines who work together to create meaningful digital experiences.

About your role

OWOW has been building custom software for years. As a next step, we are converting parts of our proven solutions into reusable, license-driven products built on our own IP. This enables us to serve more customers and create a structural, recurring revenue stream.

As a Product Developer, you will play a key role in this transition. Under the guidance of our CTO, you will take the lead in productizing existing software by preparing it for reuse, scalability, and long-term maintenance. You will also contribute to the discovery and development of new products where we see strong business potential.

You work end-to-end: from idea and validation to prototype and production-ready product. You talk to users, test assumptions, and iterate quickly. You focus on outcomes, not just features, and you are comfortable making hard decisions when something does not validate.

What you will work on and what we expect from you

Your responsibilities and ownership

• Take ownership of productizing existing OWOW software into reusable, license-driven products.
• Prepare products for long-term use by focusing on scalability, maintainability, and clear boundaries between client-specific and generic functionality.
• Lead the discovery phase for new product ideas, from initial concept to validated prototype.
• Validate assumptions by talking to users and testing hypotheses early and often.
• Build and iterate on prototypes and MVPs to reduce technical and business risk.
• Decide when to iterate further and when to discard ideas, features, or entire products.
• Think in terms of product-market fit, licensing models, and recurring revenue.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and other disciplines within OWOW.
• Actively explore how AI can be used to accelerate development and unlock new product capabilities.

Job requirements

Your experience and knowledge

• Minimum of three years of experience building digital products, tools, or prototypes.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with React and Node.js is a plus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
• Interest in experimenting with AI-driven features or workflows.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience working in iterative, sprint-based teams.
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in English or Dutch, spoken and written.
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from our Eindhoven office (hybrid work policy).
